NOTICE OF CHANGE OF INITIAL PLEADING CASE NUMBER FOR 2026
Beginning January 1, 2026, the Court will be utilizing current year numbering conventions and no longer use 02-6000. When filing a civil initial pleading with the Middle District of Pennsylvania the case number will change to 4:26-at-6000. For criminal initial pleadings filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the new number will change to 4:26-ra-6000. This change will better organize our processes and procedures. The initial filing procedures remain unaffected. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Clerk’s Office.
