Signatures or Other Information within a PDF Document that Won't Print

Sometimes you may receive an ECF document which appears normally on-screen, but certain information is missing from the PDF when you print it.

Most likely, the cause is that a signature line, or other information, has been placed in the document via a PDF stamp or other markup method.

To print the full document, make sure that Document and Markups, Documents and Comments, or Document and Stamps is selected in the Comments and Forms drop down menu on the PDF Print dialog as shown here*.

*This is the print dialog from Adobe Acrobat 8.0. Your print dialog may look different, depending on your version of Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader, as well as the printer and printer driver you are using when you view and print PDFs. For example, in Acrobat 6.0, there is a Print What? option under which you would select Documents and Comments.

You'll know which selection is correct because the missing information will appear in the Preview: Composite section of the dialog.
