            IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT electronic equipment such as radios, cameras, video cameras, cellular telephones, notebook or similar computers, pagers, dictation equipment and similar devices are prohibited in any courthouse or other location where proceedings of the Court are being conducted, except as set forth hereafter:

            An attorney appearing before a judicial officer or duly appointed designee of this Court shall be permitted to use and possess in the courthouse cellular telephones, paging devices, and notebook or similar computers; provided that



            a. All electronic devices are subject to appropriate screening by court security personnel,

            b. Cell phones and paging devices shall be turned off in all courtrooms and chambers unless otherwise ordered.



            This Order supercedes Standing Order 95-1 (March 27, 1995) and any other prior related order(s).
