FOR THE MIDDLE DISTRICT OF PENNSYLVANIA |
| RE: | : | |
| Designation of Special | : | MISC. NO. 79-161 |
| District Court Deputy Clerks | : |
ORDER
THE BACKGROUND OF THIS ORDER IS AS FOLLOWS: It has been determined that it is not economically feasible to maintain a staffed district court divisional office at Wilkes-Barre, Pa. However, there is a staffed bankruptcy court office at that location and, in the interest of service to the public and the bar in that area, it is desirable to appoint the deputy clerks of the bankruptcy court at Wilkes-Barre as special deputy clerks of the district court so they may accept complaints, other papers, and filing fees for the district court. The purpose of this order is to make such a designation.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1) Bankruptcy court deputy clerks Peggy Smith, Mary C. Doran, Janice Kivlen, and Karen Riccetti are hereby designated as special deputy clerks of the district court who may accept complaints, other papers and fees at Wilkes-Barre, Pa. for the district court.
2) The Clerk of Court shall issue all necessary instructions and procedures to implement this procedure.
