What is CM/ECF?

     
CM/ECF is the court's new electronic case filing system. It streamlines the process of creating, filing, and noticing legal documents by permitting attorneys to file documents with the Court and deliver them directly from their computers using the Internet.

CM/ECF is a user-friendly, Internet-based system. By using CM/ECF to file documents, entries are immediately placed on the docket sheet. You can view both docket entries, and the case file itself, from your own computer and, if needed, print copies of documents in a case file from your own office.

CM/ECF has the potential to provide substantial savings to attorneys, their clients, and the Court while improving access to Court records.
